For this edition of Sneaker Patrol, I decided to shed some light on a collection of sneakers by DC Shoes. For quite some time now we’ve come to automatically associate the DC brand with skateboarding paraphernalia; and rightfully so. However, it’s nice to see that DC can step outside of their comfort zone to create a very dope street-casual series of sneakers.
These sneakers are right up my alley for several reasons. First of all, they’re high tops, and I’m a sucker for a good pair of high tops. Furthermore, they’re bold. I really like how both the design and color scheme of the front half of the shoe is different from the back. This provides good color contrast and gives you even more ways in which to color coordinate these sneakers with your ensemble.
